Now I am a graduate student researching the relationship between 18th century slavery and contemporary farmwork. Student Action with Farmworkers (SAF) has supported me from protest to PhD: educating me, nurturing my leadership, giving me my first REAL job, and now providing me with archival resources for my research. All while simultaneously fighting for the rights of students from farmworking families and improving living conditions in the field for workers.

SAF's grassroots fundraising goal is to raise $20,000 through online fundraising and house parties!
SAF uses money raised from individuals to:
- conduct outreach to students and farmworkers,
- provide training, stipends, and scholarships for our interns, students organizers, and youth,
- share documentaries and presentations with the general public, and
- provide a living wage and full benefits to our staff
