Thanks for visiting my page! The button on the right will allow you to donate to this amazing cause!

WHO I AM

I attend Appalachian State as an Anthropology major, and have been working with the Farmworker community for nearly a year. My experiences working with these amazing people have led me to join SAF's efforts to bring healthcare, community development, and social justice to those in need in the great state of NC. Soon, I will be working with Carolina Family Health Center in Elm City, NC, to provide valuable services to the farmworkers of eastern North Carolina. Now you have the chance to make a difference as well!

WHY DONATE?

The farmworker community is responsible for providing us with the food on our tables that so many of us take for granted. Yet these workers also suffer  from health and social issues that often go unnoticed or uncared for. By donating to SAF, you can help make a real impact on the lives of countless farmworkers by helping us provide them with the healthcare and education they deserve.

All donations are tax deductible! The money you donate to SAF will help improve the lives of farmworkers across the state, and beyond!

Thank you again for visiting this page and learning more about the amazing work of SAF and its student interns/fellows! Any and all donations are truly and greatly appreciated!

ABOUT Intern/Student Fundraising

Student Action with Farmworkers is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose mission is to bring students and farmworkers together to learn about each other’s lives, share resources and skills, improve conditions for farmworkers, and build diverse coalitions working for social change.

SAF works with farmworkers, students, and advocates in the Carolinas and nationwide to create a more just agricultural system. Since 1992, we have engaged thousands of students, farmworker youth, and community members in the farmworker movement.
